Former Giant Kicks Off Season In Levittown

Former New York Giants kicker, Sean Landeta, joined Levittown Stop & Shop as it kicked off football season. Landeta visited the store on Sept. 7 and signed autographs, took photos with fans greeted shoppers and reminisced about some of his favorite moments playing the game he loves.

“The proudest and best moment for any player, along with me, is the moment that you actually make it,” he told the Levittown Tribune. “You want to make it, you have dreams and then that moment when it actually happened, that really is your best moment.”

Landeta won two Super Bowl championships with the team and his rings were proudly on display. “It was great to win. That’s the goal for every player. You work really hard to get there and when you get there, you are like ‘Now I have to win the game.’ It’s harder to win the game then it is to get there. I was just very lucky that we won both Super Bowls because we played very good games,” he said.

And for this season’s New York Giants team? Landeta thinks that the team is going to have a good year. “I hope they win 12 games, but I think they will have a good year and I hope all their players stay healthy because then they will be as good as they can be if they are healthy.”
