On April 26, the Greater Long Island Running Club presented a check for $5,000 to the Mercury Club — a parent booster club for Cross Country, Winter and Spring Track and Field teams at MacArthur High School. The money will be used to help the district finance the purchase of a steeple pit for the track team.
