Valley Stream Shooting Kills NYC Man

A 51-year-old Bronx man was shot and killed outside of Bronx Barbeque, a restaurant in Valley Stream, over the weekend, Nassau County police said.

Gary Harris was seen leaving the eatery on West Sunrise Highway while accompanied by a woman and two men when shots were heard in the parking lot and the victim, reentered the restaurant and collapsed on the floor at 12:30 a.m. Saturday, police said.

The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead eight hours later.

Homicide Squad detectives are continuing the investigation and ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
