Nassau County Legislator James D. Kennedy and New York State Senator Michael Venditto are hosting a Sandy Storm Recovery Resource Fair at Massapequa High School on Thursday, Aug. 27 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. for homeowners affected by Superstorm Sandy. It has been almost three years since the storm, and many people are still looking for guidance.
All are invited to meet with state, county, federal and local agencies that are dedicated to Sandy recovery. In addition, homeowners will have access to contractors, house lifters, architects, free legal clinic, rebuild charities, and free mortgage modification counseling. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will also be in attendance to assist policy holders.
All affected homeowners from neighboring communities are encouraged to attend. For more information, please call Legislator Kennedy at 516-571-6212 or Michael Raab at 516-572-1395. Massapequa High School is located at 4925 Merrick Rd., Massapequa
