Our third annual Thanksgiving Food Drive for The INN (Interfaith Nutrition Network) was a huge success. We collected over 4,500 pounds of food and delivered it to The INN for Thanksgiving. The INN is a Long Island organization founded in 1983 to feed and shelter the needy and homeless people on Long Island. The INN provides over 500 meals daily at several of their locations.
Our sincere thanks to the Manhasset School District, especially the Manhasset High School Interact Club (Junior Rotarians) and Neils Wheels for their sponsorship for this important project to help feed those in need on Long Island. Also, a special thanks to the Manhasset/Port Washington Real Estate Board, the Manhasset Community, Port Washington Yacht Club, many of the local villages and King Kullen for their support and enthusiasm during the collection of food for the needy.
