Major Case Bureau detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred on Sunday, April 10, at 9:13 p.m. in Massapequa Park.
According to detectives, a male black subject entered Dunkin Donuts, 4886 Sunrise Highway, displayed a large kitchen knife, went behind the counter and demanded the cashier open the register. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the subject left the store and was last seen on foot heading southbound on Brooklyn Avenue.
The uninjured employee described the subject as being around 35 years old, 6’ tall with a medium build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, black gloves and a black scarf covering his face.
