The Merrick-Bellmore Dayan Lilah Group of Hadassah, the largest Jewish
women’s organization in the United States, has named Judi Steckler its Woman of the Year.
Judi resides in Massapequa with her husband and two children but has been extremely active in the Hadassah’s work in Merrick and Bellmore.
A Hadassah member since 1995, Judi is a life member and her husband is an associate member of the organization. The Immediate Past Co-President of Dayan Lilah, she has held numerous Hadassah positions in both Massapequa and in Merrick-Bellmore including Cards and Certificates Chair, Fundraising Vice President, Executive Vice President and Bulletin Editor and has created events flyers and chaired events.
In addition to her volunteer work with Hadassah, Judi works full time at Winthrop University Hospital as a Manager of Patient Access. She currently holds the board position of Secretary on the Hospital Admitting Officers Association of New York and serves on the Education, Conference and Newsletter Committees. Judi recently received her Associates Degree and is continuing her education toward a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration.
