Glen Cove Man Killed in Car Crash

A 23-year-old Glen Cove man was killed when he crashed his car into a truck in Old Brookville over the weekend.

Nassau County police said Denis Coursen was driving a Nissan Maxima northbound on Glen Cove Road when he crashed into a sanitation truck at the corner of Glen Head Road at 6:44 a.m. Friday.

The victim was taken to Glen Cove Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The other driver was not injured.

Homicide Squad detectives are continuing the investigation.
