The Nassau County Police Department Homicide Squad is investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred in Great Neck on Monday, Aug. 13, at 3:52 p.m.
According to detectives, a 61-year-old woman was stabbed in a North Road home.
She was transported to a local hospital in a Nassau County Police Ambulance and was pronounced dead by a hospital physician.
The victim has been identified as Denise Webster of Garwood, United Kingdom.
Homicide Squad detectives arrested Faye Doomchin in connection with the crime. The 66 year old was arrested at her North Road residence without incident.
She is charged with second-degree murder and will be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on Tuesday, Aug. 14.
