A Long Island couple believes they may have captured video footage of a ghost and its dog on their home video surveillance camera earlier this month.

Joey Nolan was out with his wife when he remotely logged in to his home video feed so he could check up on their couple’s sick cat around 1 a.m. Aug. 8 when he spotted the apparent phantom, he told the New York Post.

“Our security camera picked up a strange visitor walking through the kitchen,” Nolan wrote in a note when he posted to YouTube the video that’s been viewed more than 500,000 times in two weeks. “Some claim it’s a little boy and their pet. We don’t know for sure, but let us know what you think.”

He told the Post that the incident came shortly after he and his wife both had the same weird dream about dog. Skeptics replied that it was likely a spider or dust on the lens, but some commented that they believe it’s a ghost.

Spirit or not, whatever it was certainly is creepy.
