From the start of this interview, David Hough’s enthusiasm for his Symphony of Dance tour fairly bursts out of him, as when he says, “It’s the show I’m probably the proudest of!” And that’s going some for this dancer who gained prominence as one of the cast of professionals teamed with celebrities in the competition series Dancing With the Stars, now in its 32nd season of bringing the art of dance to new heights.

A former Great Neck-based doctor was sentenced to up to 15 years in prison on Monday for opioid overprescription that led to five deaths between 2016 and 2018. He faces a minimum of five years in prison.

Billy Joel has announced that a new single, “Turn The Lights Back On,” will be released on Feb. 1 – his first in almost two decades.

A Smithtown man whose police brutality case ended the careers of a police chief, district attorney and top corruption investigator was arrested for allegedly breaking an 89-year-old woman’s leg, Suffolk County prosecutors said.
