Biography:
Maureen O’Connell has dedicated her career to serving the residents of Nassau County.
A registered nurse, she developed a groundbreaking home-care program to improve the quality of life for cancer patients. After earning her law degree, she made history as the first woman elected to represent her district in the New York State Assembly, where she fought to control taxes and protect the suburbs.
As Nassau County Clerk, Maureen has modernized the office, streamlining processes to enable residents to access documents securely and efficiently. She is running for re-election to continue improving services, protecting taxpayers, and ensuring Nassau residents can navigate government easily and effectively.
