The sun was shining on Sunday, Oct. 5, as members of the North Shore High School Key Club baked and sold more than 1,000 cookies at the annual Kiwanis Mini Mart.

The student volunteers raised funds to support several local charities and collected an additional $450 to donate to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
