Approximately 34,000 commended students throughout the nation are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise. Commended students placed among the top 50,000 scorers of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2026 competition by taking the 2024 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.

We are all proud of all 9 of our Commended Students for their accomplishments in and out of the classroom. The North Shore School District looks forward to hearing more about their continued future successes throughout the 2025-26 school year. Congratulations! Go Vikings Go!
