Roslyn High School’s Royal Crown Players will stage three live performances of “Les Misérables,” Thursday, March 26– Sunday, March 28, for the Roslyn community.
“Les Misérables,” based on the novel by Victor Hugo, follows Jean Valjean, a former prisoner who tries to live a good life after being shown kindness by a bishop. As he cares for the young Cosette, he is relentlessly pursued by the law-obsessed inspector Javert. Set in France, the story explores redemption, justice and compassion amid social unrest.
The Royal Crown Players of Roslyn High School have been in existence since 1941, providing students with opportunities to explore many aspects, genres and specialties of the theatrical performing arts, as well as opportunities to perform and perfect their craft.
