Manhasset High School celebrated 24 student-athletes on Friday, March 6, as they made their postsecondary plans official during the school’s annual Athletics Signing Day.
The event brought together students, families, coaches and school administrators to recognize the athletes’ achievements in the classroom and in competition.
During the ceremony, each student-athlete signed a ceremonial document marking their commitment to continue their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level. Students posed for photos with family members and coaches to commemorate the milestone.
Athletics Signing Day has become a tradition at Manhasset High School, highlighting students who have balanced rigorous academic work with the demands of competitive sports.
School officials said the students’ accomplishments reflect years of perseverance, teamwork and dedication.
The district congratulated the student-athletes and said it looks forward to celebrating their continued success during their senior year.
