Hundreds came out to the second annual St. Patrick’s Day parade in Massapequa on Saturday, March 14, decked out in green attire.

The Massapequa Chamber of Commerce hosted the event, which honored Fox News commentator and Massapequa native Brian Kilmeade.

The Massapequa Historical Society, Mosquito Guido, the Knights of Columbus, and dozens of other community organizations and businesses marched down Broadway in warm sunny weather.

The event was sponsored by Embassy Diner, TLC Companions, Ginger Freck of Douglas Eliman, Genstar Masonry and Landscaping, Paddy’s Loft, Smuggler Jacks, Schneps Media, Total Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, and Lebenthal.

Andy Kuzma sat by the stage, greeting passers-by fully dressed in a St. Patrick costume, complete with a bishop’s staff in hand, a mitre atop his head, and a long flowing beard. Kuzma is a greeter at the Embassy Diner, the event’s chief sponsor.
