Voters in several Port Washington villages returned incumbent officials running unopposed to office in local elections, with one race drawing notable write-in support.
In the Village of Baxter Estates, Trustees Alice Peckelis and Alexander Price were reelected to two-year terms in an uncontested race. Peckelis received 90 votes and Pierce received 56.


Despite running unopposed, the election drew a significant number of write-in votes for resident Dennis Farrell, who garnered 41 votes.
Price was first elected to the board in 2024 and previously served as an alternate member of the village’s Board of Zoning and Appeals. Peckelis has served as a trustee for more than 15 years.
In the Village of Port Washington North, incumbents Steven Cohen and Michael Malatino were reelected to two-year terms on the board of trustees. Cohen received 31 votes, while Malatino received 32. Village Justice Sheldon Greenbaum also won reelection, earning 30 votes for a four-year term.
In the Village of Flower Hill, Mayor Randall Rosenbaum and three trustees were reelected. Rosenbaum received 62 votes, Trustee Claire Dawson received 63, Trustee Gary Lewandowski received 58, and Trustee A.J. Smith received 65. A total of 67 voters cast ballots in the election, and all candidates were elected to two-year terms.
