The Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation hosted its annual Holi celebration on Monday, March 16, 2026.
Known as both the Festival of Colors and the Festival of Love, Holi honors the divine love between Lord Krishna and Goddess Radha. Inside Parker’s auditorium, patients, residents, families and team members – Hindu and non-Hindu alike – joined in prayer and celebration.
Residents of Parker’s Indian Cultural Unit opened the program with a dynamic blend of song and dance, setting a high bar for the performers who followed. The afternoon continued with traditional storytelling dances by Aadhitya Prem and Navya Prasad of the Navatman School, highlighting the richness of Indian heritage.
Henna Khanijou of the Kalakriti Academy of the Arts presented a lively classical Bollywood dance.
Rachel Dalton, Parker’s assistant vice president of strategy and program development, and Mukta Kohli, Parker’s cultural liaison, surprised the audience with a vibrant rendition of the hit song Bura Na Mano, Holi Hai.
“Holi is one of the many special celebrations we cherish at Parker, bringing joy, unity and cultural connection,” said Michael N. Rosenblut, president and CEO of the Parker Jewish Institute. “While each occasion throughout the year is meaningful in its own way, our community particularly looks forward to Holi, made even more memorable by the dedication of our team members and volunteers, who do an outstanding job creating a warm and welcoming environment for all.”
