Long Island Lutheran Middle & High School recognized the achievements of its outstanding students at its Annual Honors Banquet held on Tuesday, June 14 at the Fox Hollow Caterers in Woodbury. Among those honored was Levittown resident Michael Valencia.
LuHi Athletic Awards are presented to the Most Valuable Player on each of the 2010-11 interscholastic varsity sports teams. Valencia was named MVP of the Lutheran High Football Team in recognition of his athletic talent, high standards of sportsmanship, and his ability to serve as a positive role model for her teammates. Valencia will be attending Nassau Community College in the fall.
