Francis (Mac) McManus, of Bayville, died suddenly on Oct. 5, 2011. Husband of Anne (nee Shields). Father of John (Ornella) Mandato, Douglas (Pam) McManus, Patty (Garry) Mattingly, Karen (Steve) Salerno and Glen (Cheryl) McManus. Grandfather of Justin, Sydney, Steven, Luca, Makena, Emma and Paige. Brother of Robert (Judy), Charles and the late Father Eugene and Joseph. Brother-in-law of William (Kathleen) Shields and Cathy (Tom) Newman.
Mac was a member for 45 years of the Carpenters Local Union #290. He was an avid golfer and had a love for life and his family. Mac will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, good friend and kind neighbor. Arrangements were made by the McLaughlin Kramer Megiel Funeral Home, Glen Cove. Funeral Mass at the Church of St. Gertrude. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery.
