Island Trees Girls’ Soccer Wraps Up Season

The eighth grade girls soccer team wrapped up their season with a huge accomplishment – finishing undefeated. The girls really stepped up their game on Thursday beating the undefeated Salk team 5-0. The Lady Bulldogs’ tough defense kept the opponents to eight goals for the entire season, while their amazing offense finished with 33 goals. It was truly amazing to watch such incredible cohesiveness between 21 players that each had a huge impact on the team’s success. From start to finish the girls worked together and proved they could reach the top. The talent, hard work and positive attitude was contagious among every player.
