The Plainview-Old Bethpage John F. Kennedy High School Women’s Varsity and JV Lacrosse teams will be hosting a HEADstrong event on Monday, May 6 at 4:15 p.m. at Plainview-Old Bethpage Middle School. The HEADstrong Foundation is a charitable organization that raises money and awareness for blood cancer research. The girls will be selling HEADstrong merchandise including shirts, lanyards, sunglasses and awareness bracelets after school and during their games against Oyster Bay on May 6. The team is encouraging all members of the community to come out and help them reach their fundraising goal of $2200.
