Water System Flushing
Starting May 9, the Village of Farmingdale will be flushing water mains and fire hydrants throughout the village as part of its regular distribution system maintenance program. Flushing will begin at 10:30 p.m. on Friday and will be finished at approximately 6:30 a.m. Saturday, May 10. For additional information contact village hall at 516-249-0093.

Car Show
On May 10, rev up your engines for Farmingdale High School’s annual car show. The car show runs from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. (rain date on May 17) outside the high school, located at 150 Lincoln St. in Farmingdale, It costs $5 to participate and trophies will be awarded for the best entries. Admission is free to the public and includes food, drinks, and live music.
Voter Registration
Anyone over 18 and is eligible to vote, can come to Howitt Middle School, at 70 Van Cott Ave. in Farmingdale, on May 10, from 3-9 p.m. to register.

Mother’s Day Brunch

On May 14, the Concerned Citizens of Farmingdale will be meeting at 7:30 p.m., at Allen Park, on Motor Ave. in Farmingdale, to discuss the South Farmingdale Fire Commissioners’ referendum on its exisisting length of service awards program (LOSAP).
