FBLI Meeting
On June 22, managers and coaches with the Farmingdale Baseball League, Inc. will meet at the Nutty Irishman at 323 Main St. in Farmingdale to discuss the upcoming 9-11 Memorial Baseball Tournament this Sept. All of the money raised from the tournament will be donated to charity.
Youth Mass
On June 22, St. Kilian’s Roman Catholic Church at 485 Conklin St. in Farmingdale invite teens to sit and sing with the congregation. For those in attendance, there will be a rehearsal at 8 a.m. in the church music room.

The next public work session of the Village of Farmingdale Board of Trustees will be held at 7 p.m. at Village Hall, 361 Main St. in Farmingdale.
Moving Up Day
On June 23, Albany Avenue Elementary School will hold its moving up day ceremony at the Saltzman East Memorial Elementary School at 9:15 a.m., for fifth-grade students headed to middle school next year.

Farmingdale High School’s graduating Class of 2014 will don their cap and gown, at 6 p.m., for the 2014 commencement ceremony at Hofstra University.

The next meeting of the Farmingdale Planning Board will be held at 7 p.m. on June 24 at Village Hall, 361 Main St. in Farmingdale.

Village Pops
Founded by former Farmingdale High School music teacher Brad DeMilo, the Farmingdale Village Pops kicks off its seven-week concert season with a performance at 7:30 p.m. on the Village Green on Main Street in Farmingdale. The village pops summer concerts will continue every Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
WBLI At Adventureland
On June 25, hang out with WBLI’s Astra who will be broadcasting live from the park at 11 a.m. Stop by and spin the WBLI prize wheel for a chance to win some summertime swag.

Pet Day
Dallow Realty and the North Shore Animal League have teamed up to create the first annual Village of Farmingdale pet day event which will be held from noon-4 p.m. on the Village Green. During the event there will be a doggie fashion show. To enter costs $10. All proceeds will go to the North Shore Animal League America. The winner will receive gift basket, a gift certificate and a free pet wash.
