Central Islip Man Gets 35 Years for Rape

A Central Islip man was sentenced Tuesday to 35 years in prison for raping a woman he met at a party three years ago.

Felix Troche Jr. had been convicted last month at Suffolk County court of first-degree rape, criminal sexual act, assault, unlawful imprisonment and other charges.

Prosecutors said the 27-year-old met the woman at a Mt. Sinai house party, held her against her will and repeatedly assaulted her for more than four hours on June 1, 2012.

Suffolk County police arrested him on April 6, 2014.
