Do you have extra youth baseball equipment lying around your house going unused? Do you want to help needy children around the globe find positive, skill-building activities? Then donate your new and gently-used baseball equipment to Michael Gastwirth’s Mitzvah Project, which is partnering with Pitch In For Baseball to spread America’s pastime to impoverished communities across the globe.
“Getting young people and players to run equipment drives is the key to the success of Pitch In For Baseball,” says David Rhode, president. “We’re ecstatic that Michael Gastwirth has stepped up to the plate and is helping us out.”
The donation day will be on Saturday, March 28 at the Munsey Park Elementary School parking lot from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. (rain or shine).
