Syosset Runner Keeps Going

Still running after all these years.

Congratulations to veteran Syosset runner Bert Jablon for his outstanding performance in the second race in the 2015 Run Nassau Series of races leading up to the RexCorp Long Island Marathon in May. The race was conducted on Sunday, March 22, over a five mile course in Cedar Creek Park in Seaford.

The 87-year-old Jablon completed the course in one hour, 12 minutes and 49 seconds, earning himself first place honors in the 85 and over age group. He was the oldest finisher in the race.
