Grace Day Student Wins LI Spelling Bee

Grace Day School student, Reuben Philip, recently won first place in the 2015 Long Island Fellowship of Christian School’s Spelling Bee. The annual competition was held at West Sayville Christian School on March 19. Students, grades 5 through 8, traveled from nine different schools to participate in the event. Massapequa’s Grace Day School sent six students to compete and took home the first place trophy, thanks to the talented eighth grader, pictured with Blake Sheridan.
