As reported in last week’s issue of The Roslyn News, seven members of the Roslyn High School boys varsity tennis team were selected to compete in the Nassau County High School Tournament, which was held on May 8-9, in Oceanside.
They included Justin Lempert, competing in the singles tournament, and the tandems of Michael Liebman and David Jaslow, Kyle Galin and Sohil Mohan, plus Eric Irom and Jeremy Kaplan, competing in the doubles tournament.
The first day was cut short due to rain but all seven players won their opening round matches and continued play the next day.
Liebman and Jaslow were able to make it to the third round, while Irom and Kaplan advanced all the way to the quarterfinals earning them All County honors.
