Manhasset Woods Repaving

On Thursday, Sept. 17, the Village of Flower Hill was stripping the asphalt on Manhasset Woods Road. Heavy equipment was used to strip the blacktop directly into the bin. Work crews directed traffic around the heavy machinery.

Crews were out during the late morning a potentially low volume time so as not to inconvenience daily commuter traffic that passes through the area.

It is suggested to avoid the area during the day until work crews have completed the repaving.
