Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth, Councilmember Viviana Russell and Town Clerk Wayne Wink attended a ceremony on March 5 at Verdi’s in Westbury to celebrate Bishop Lionel Harvey’s 17th anniversary as a pastor for the First Baptist Cathedral in Westbury. Bosworth presented Harvey with a proclamation in honor of his anniversary.
“Bishop Harvey is the shepherd of 1,400 members of his ministry, and a spiritual leader to an entire community here in the Westbury-New Cassel area,” said Bosworth. “His dedication, generosity and enthusiasm extend far beyond this immediate community and flow into the hearts of anyone who meets him.”
