The Long Island Environmental Voters Forum have endorsed Adam Haber for the 7th State Senate District. The endorsement highlighted Haber’s commitment to protecting Long Island’s natural resources.
“I’m proud to have the support of the Long Island Environmental Voters Forum and their help to highlight what is at stake in this election when it comes to protecting Long Island’s precious resources, especially our drinking water,” said Haber. “We need leaders in Albany who will fight to protect our environment and public health on Long Island, which I’m committed to doing.”
David L. Reisfield, Executive Director, Long Island Environmental Voters Forum, said, “We’re endorsing Adam Haber because he’s the candidate who Long Islanders can count on to support both a healthy environment and a healthy economy, together. For too long, our communities have lacked true leadership in the State Senate when it comes to protecting our drinking water, and it’s time for change.”
Haber is an East Hills resident and a member of the Roslyn School Board who is running to fill a seat left vacant by Jack Martins, who is running for the U.S. Congress. Haber is being opposed by Elaine Phillips, the Republican Party nominee.
