The Sewanhaka Central High School District swim team is off to a strong start this season. On Sept. 24, the girls defeated Wantagh High School, 95-80 at the Nassau County Aquatic Center.

The girls are led by team captains Kimberly Can and Andrea Falco (H. Frank Carey High School), Allysa Rullo (Sewanhaka High School) and Samantha Truter (Elmont Memorial High School).
