Meet Fruitcake! This shy kitten that is sweet as pie once he trusts you. He will require continued one-on-one socialization to further the great progress he’s made so far. With patience, he enjoys cuddling and making biscuits on your lap. Fruitcake makes biscuits and dances on the floor while he purrs. He’s a very vocal guy and loves having long conversations and making silly sounds. He’s very playful and loves other cats. Fruitcake may still be hissy with new people, but if you’re not afraid to cuddle this little guy, he’ll be purring up a storm in no time. Due to his skittish & vocal nature, he’d do best in a home without children under 12 and only an experienced adopter/household will be eligible to adopt him at this time.
Gracie earned her name because of her grace! According to her foster, this 1.5-year-old gal is the neatest and tidiest cat she’s ever seen. Gracie will lean her head into the palm of your hand for attention and love. You will hear her meow when you bring her food and purrs while she eats. Although Gracie is mostly grey, she has white paws and the white tip on her tail makes it look like a paint brush. This affectionate kitty is looking for a quiet home where she can lounge on a cat tree, cat bed or your couch. Gracie is a calm cat who would do well with other calm cats. She seeks affection from people and is looking for her perfect match.
Two-year-old Ophelia is an eye-catching beauty! Ophelia has unique markings that draw you in right away. She is a bit shy at first but with some time and love she will warm right up. She loves affection and will go right over to you asking for it. Ophelia is ready to meet her purrfect match.

Mia is a 4-year-old Mastiff Mix who has been a resident of the Animal Shelter for over three years, arriving after she was hit by a car. Fortunately, she made it out of that incident with only a few minor fractures and scrapes. She bonded very quickly with Animal Shelter staff and has become a favorite among volunteers.
Mia has a very goofy personality and is a total love bug. She’s a big fan of going for walks, playing with toys, and snuggles! Mia is still distrustful of strangers, so she needs a home that will help her come out of her shell and properly introduce her to new people. Once she is comfortable around someone, she is their friend for life. If you’re able to put in a little bit of work, the love from Mia is absolutely worth it. While she has experience living with two other dogs, she is selective about which dogs she likes to spend time with and would prefer to be in a home without cats or children.

**Senior Alert** At 17-years-young, LJ is a super mush ball. This stunning senior was brought to Lend-a-Paw’s attention after his owner with many cats passed away. He came in with his brother who was his best friend and snuggle buddy. Unfortunately, he passed due to old age. LJ absolutely loves people and other cats. Someone please give this boy a loving home to spend the rest of his life in. He has been through so much.
Meet Germany! This 1-year-old little girl is looking for a loving forever family to snuggle and play with. Germany loves looking out the window and going for walks. She is very high energy and will need a home that can make sure she gets plenty of time to run around. Germany is great with other dogs, but unknown with cats. She can have separation anxiety, so she will need a patient forever family. She is up to date and will be spayed in August.

Handsome, 5-year-old Pablo was found with almost 100 other cats after a fire. Despite all he has been through, he has always been in such amazing spirits-he is such a sweet and silly boy! From the second he went into Lend-a-Paws cat playroom, he was friends with everybody and could not stop exploring. Pablo has such a youthful soul and would love a forever family where he can play and snuggle as much as he wants!

Awesome Asher and Austin are an amazing pair! This dynamic duo of Golden Doodles love to play in the yard and take walks. Asher is 4 and Austine is 3. Both were rescued from a neglectful home and need love and training. They are doing so much better while in the shelter’s care and are definitely ready for their furever home, without other pets is preferred. With the right amount of time, these two will flourish and thrive!
If you’re looking for a pup that loves to play ball, swim, go for walks and cuddle when the day is over, then Tootsie Roll is for you! This 2-year-old Terrier Mix would make a wonderful pet in a home with another dog and older kids. He is a fun, loving pup who has a lot of energy and needs an active family.
Little 6-month-old Toast was found wandering the streets and now, thankfully, safe in the care of the shelter. He is a fun boy who loves to fetch his ball and take walks. Toast needs a little more in house training, but he is super smart and a very fast learner. He would do well in a home with a family who is active.
Check out Charlie! This 3-year-old Miniature Pinscher needs time in a quiet home with a patient person or family. Older children would be best for him. He loves to walk and needs regular exercise daily. He gets along with other small dogs but would likely thrive in a home where he is the only pet.
If a fun dog is what you’re looking for, you’re “justin” time to meet Justin! This 2-year-old Rat Terrier is a burst of energy and would do well with a very active family or person. Justin loves to jump, run and have fun in the yard. This little pup loves everyone and has a beautiful personality. He would do best as the only pet in your home.
