Police: Body Found Near Jetty In Long Beach

According to police, a 37-year-old woman’s body was found early Tuesday morning in Long Beach.

Long Beach police responded to a call reporting the floating body around 6:30 a.m., at the Long Beach jetty off of Lincoln Boulevard.

The woman was pronounced dead on the scene.

The cause of death is n0t known at this time — but the Nassau County Police Department’s Homicide Squad is investigating the case.
