United Cerebral Palsy of Long Island (UCPLI) hosted its annual “A Night in Monte Carlo” fundraising event on April 24 at the elegant Heritage Club in Bethpage. This casino-themed evening of fun and philanthropy brought together community members, supporters, and advocates — all united to help UCP-LI continue its mission of creating “Life Without Limits” for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
This year’s event was especially meaningful, as UCPLI celebrates 75 years of service — a milestone that honors decades of advocacy, support, and empowerment for individuals with disabilities on Long Island.
The evening highlighted the powerful role the Arts play within UCPLI’s programs. Through the “Brushstrokes” program, many talented individuals use painting as a tool for self-expression, storytelling, and emotional connection.
Proceeds from “A Night in Monte Carlo” raised an impressive $92,000, which will fund vital programs and services that help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live more independent, fulfilling lives.
As UCP-LI reflects on 75 years of impact, the organization remains deeply committed to its vision: a world where every person is empowered to live a life without limits.
