Great Neck Library welcomes residents to celebrate Halloween at the Parkville Branch with a classic comedy movie and pizza on Oct. 24 at 3:45 p.m.

They will be showing “The Ghostbusters,” which they said “offers more fun than fright.”

“Come with friends. Come with family. Come in costume,” a promotional statement from the library said. “Find something fun under your seat to make it interactive, too.”

The classic comedy revolves around three college professors who lose their jobs and decide to start a ghost removal service. The movie is rated PG and runs 1 hour and 45 minutes.

The library requests participants register in advance, so they know how much food to order.  Walk-ins are also welcome as space permits.  For tweens (grades 4-6) and teens (grades 7-12). For more information, please call the Great Neck Library at 516-466-8055, extension 257.
