The Port Washington/Roslyn girls swim team delivered an outstanding performance at the Nassau County Swimming Championships on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, at the Nassau County Aquatic Center. The team earned 315 points to secure a runner-up finish, highlighted by several standout swims.

Leading the way was Carina Dai of Roslyn, who had an exceptional meet with two first-place finishes and multiple top performances. Dai captured gold in the 50-yard freestyle (24.31) and took second in the 100-yard butterfly (56.01). She also played a key role in both freestyle relays.

The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Dai, Kamila Ko, Mila Fisher, and Mae Straesser, all of Port Washington, earned the title of Nassau County champions, winning the event in 1:38.91. Dai also contributed to the 400-yard freestyle relay, which finished in 3:37.24.
