Roslyn High School’s newly formed chapter of the National Art Honor Society brought holiday cheer to Delicacies with a festive window painting, as students transformed the storefront glass into a winter wonderland on Friday, Dec. 5.
Marli Jacobson, Elizabeth Yadgarov, Zohar Benlevi, Ava Marchlewski, Grace Lomazow and Lindsay Waxman spent hours on the artwork, undeterred by chilly weather, an early sunset and a brief snow flurry.
Shoppers and passersby stopped to admire the display, and one man even bought the students hot chocolate in appreciation.
The mix of creativity, teamwork and a touch of winter magic made for an unforgettable evening.
