mtvhough t300Julianne Hough will be back on the stage that made her famous, but only for one night.

Hough will be heading back to “Dancing with the Stars” next Tuesday, the same day her new film “Footloose” hits theaters.

Although she won’t be staying, she confirmed to USA Today, that she would be on the stage again, “I’ll be dancing with Kenny (Wormald,  co-star in “Footloose”). We will definitely be dancing to Footloose, but we will have a few tricks up our sleeves in the beginning.”

On last night’s episode of DWTS, Hough appeared.

“What’s up guys? I’m Julianne Hough. It’s so good to be home,” Hough said in a taped video broadcast during Tuesday night’s results show.” I cannot wait to be back in the ballroom dancing for my new movie Footloose next week on the results show. And I might just throw in a little dance with Derek (her brother and professional dancer)!”

Hough, 23, is best known for being a two-time winner of the show, and earned a Creative Arts Primetime Emmy nomination in 2007 for choreography.

According to USA Today, she won’t be returning for a whole season again any time soon as her acting career is on the rise.

After “Footloose” where she showcases her dancing skills, she’s set to star in “Rock of Ages” and test out her vocals.

The movie is a film adaptation of the 2006, Chris D’Arienzo Broadway musical of the same name. It is scheduled for a June, 2012 release. It stars Russell Brand, Tom Cruise, Kevin Nash, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Alec Baldwin, and Mary J. Blidge. The movie follows Drew Boley, played by Diego Boneta and Sherrie Christian, played by Hough, who fall in love during the rock music scene in 1987.
