Julianne Hough made her way back to the Hollywood ballroom this week.

Tuesday, Hough was back to “Dancing with the Stars,” the show that made her famous, but only for a night. She appeared the same day her new film “Footloose” hit theaters.

She danced twice, once with Kenny (Wormald, co-star in “Footloose”) and also with brother and “Dancing With The Stars” professional dancer, Derek Hough.

On last week’s episode of DWTS, Hough appeared and shared her exciting secret, that she would be appearing once again.

“What’s up guys? I’m Julianne Hough. It’s so good to be home,” Hough said in a taped video broadcast during Tuesday night’s results show.” I cannot wait to be back in the ballroom dancing for my new movie Footloose next week on the results show. And I might just throw in a little dance with Derek (her brother and professional dancer)!”

The 23-year-old is best known for being a professional dancer and two-time winner of the show—in 2007, she earned a Creative Arts Primetime Emmy nomination for choreography.

Since leaving the show, she’s gained success through singing and acting. In her latest film, the remake of “Footloose” she showcases both her acting and dancing. Following “Footloose,” she’s set to star in “Rock of Ages” and test out her voice.

As we previously reported, the movie is a film adaptation of the 2006, Chris D’Arienzo Broadway musical of the same name. It is scheduled for a June, 2012 release. It stars Russell Brand, Tom Cruise, Kevin Nash, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Alec Baldwin, and Mary J. Blidge. The movie follows Drew Boley, played by Diego Boneta and Sherrie Christian, played by Hough, who fall in love during the rock music scene in 1987.
