Great Neck Man Allegedly Steals $18,000 From Parents

According to Nassau County Police, a man was arrested after bilking his parents of almost $20,000 from September 24 to October 29.

Allegedly, 56-year old Stephen Foster of Great Neck took several checkbooks from his parents home in September. He then cashed the checks and made unauthorized purchases on their credit cards over a period of time amounting to a total of $18,000. Additionally, Foster was also involved in a verbal argument with a family member, during which, he kicked his or her car causing $250 in damage.

Foster was arrested on Saturday at his home and was charged with Grand Larceny, Forgery, Identity Theft, Falsify Business Records, Petit Larceny and Criminal Mischief.  He will be arraigned today in First District Court in Hempstead.
