Blue Ivy Carter made her public debut on dad Jay-Z’s website Life & Times Friday February 10.
Photos were published on the site showing baby Blue with mom Beyonce and her rap mogul dad.
The little girl and the first child for rapper Jay-Z and singer Beyonce was born January 8.
As we previously reported, Beyonce gave birth in a private wing of Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan, where the couple reportedly rented out the entire fourth floor.
Blue Ivy Carter’s birth caused a sensation even getting shout outs via Twitter from her mom and dad’s famous friends.
Beyonce’s sister, Solange Knowles tweeted, “The most beautiful girl in the world,” while actress Gwyneth Paltrow tweeted, “Welcome to the world Blue! We love you already.”
“Congrats to my good friends Beyonce and Jay-Z,” tweeted Russell Simmons while singer Rihanna tweeted: ”Welcome to the world princess Carter! Love Aunty Rih.”
Her dad even released a song in the following days called “Glory” in which he sings Blue’s praises.
“Baby I’ll paint the sky blue, my greatest creation was you,” sings Jay-Z.
“You’re the child of my destiny, you’re my child of a child from Destiny’s Child,” he sings. “That’s a hell of a recipe.”
He also revealed some information that the public didn’t know in “Glory.” As Associated Press reports, he hints that Beyonce may have suffered a miscarriage. In “Glory” he sings,”Last time the miscarriage was so tragic,” and that “We was afraid you’d disappear but nah baby you magic.”
The song even features B.I.C. At the end of it you can hear the sound of her cries.
The couple first revealed the pregnancy publicly at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards when Beyonce shared the news on the black carpet and posed for pictures holding her bump. Beyonce later performed and at one point, unbuttoned her blazer to give her belly a rub.
