Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck welcomed a new baby to their family this past week.
Garner reportedly gave birth to a baby boy Tuesday.
It’s the first boy for the couple who already have two girls 6-year-old Violet, and 3-year-old Seraphina.
People reported that the baby was born in Santa Monica, California.
Back in August, the couple announced they were expecting another little one, their third child together.
The news came while Garner was in her second trimester and a source told the entertainment news outlet Radar Online that the couple has been trying for a baby for a while and they’ve been keen to extend their family.
They released a statement to the Associated Press announcing the news, telling the Associated Press that they are “thrilled” about the pregnancy.
Garner and Affleck, both 39, decided to keep the sex of the baby a secret. The actress told Jay Leno she knew the sex of the baby but wouldn’t be sharing.
The couple married back in 2005 and soon after started expanding their family with the addition of Violet.
“You have to have a great nanny, and you have to have a supportive husband,” Garner once told US Magazine of being a mother. “We figure it out day by day. It’s always messy, and it’s never as glamorous as people think it is, but we get through, and as long as the kids are happy, it’s all good.”
