Lindsay Lohan made her return to Saturday Night Live this weekend and her performance is getting mixed reviews.

According to celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, LiLo thinks she did okay. A source spoke to Perez Hilton and said that Lindsay knew her performance wasn’t “perfect,” but that the less than fantastic act was due to a few last-minute changes. Lohan was originally supposed to have a singing monologue.

It may have been a good decision to take out the singing monologue, because the ultimate outcome of her ‘talking’ monologue was pretty good. It started like this: “I feel lucky and grateful to be here tonight and that’s why I really want to thank all of my friends at SNL who trusted me enough to have me back. This studio feels like home to me,” just as she finished a fake “house arrest” style alarm sounded when she began to move.

Then she joked, “Wait, so the alarm goes off if I leave the stage? I thought it was if I left the studio.”

Though Lindsay may have been able to draw a laugh from the audience, Joan Rivers was not impressed by Lindsay’s appearance on SNL. She tweeted, “Lindsay Lohan was so bad on SNL that the judge is sending her back to rehab, but for acting lessons.”

But Lindsay does not seem to be phased by the negative criticism. After the show was finished taping, she went out to Kibo, a Japanese restaurant to celebrate with her friends and family.

Even if she didn’t have the support of her fellow celebrities, Lindsay had her family on her side. Lohan’s mother, Dina told the Huffington Post, “I’m so excited for her. She has worked so hard all week rehearsing. I’m so proud of her. Her brothers Mike and Cody and sister, Ali, were all with her. Thank you for believing in us.”
