Yes everyone, brace yourselves and get ready for more little people to pop out of cabinets because R. Kelly is providing us with thirty-two more chapters.
R. Kelly will continue to be the executive producer for the series, in addition to writing and staring in the “Trapped” chapters he also co-directs with Jim Swaffield, reports Pitchfork.com.
All of the original characters will be returning and IFC ensures the new chapters will continue to be “suspenseful, mysterious, humorous and dramatic story, packed with cliffhangers and unexpected twists and turns.”
Get ready to watch the new drama with Sylvester, Twan and Pimp Lucius unwind.
Maybe R. Kelly will bring back some of our favorite characters like Bridget and the midget, the gay pastor, the neighbor with the spatula and the lesbians in the diner.
R. Kelly’s “Trapped in the Closet” is a “hip-hopera” that follows its characters through their infidelity and crazy circumstances.
The uncanny musical series was originally made because of the five dramatic, cliffhanger videos that put out in 2007 by the R&B singer which ultimately morphed “Trapped In The Closet” into a cult classic.
According to a statement on Wednesday that was posted on The Huffington Post he said: “The Alien is back and It has brought friends along.” When he continued to speak about “Trapped In The Closet” he added that the series “not of this Earth.”
There is no definite date for when the new “Trapped In The Closet” chapters will debut.
