Kilian CYO Team Emerges Tourney Champs

Saint Kilian’s CYO eighth grade boys’ basketball team started out the season a little slow and reached mid-season with an 0-5 record. They finished with a 6-6 mark. Coach Al Lopez, along with assistant coach Bob Mott, entered their team in the Our Lady of Mercy’s Heaney Tournament. Having to defeat two other teams, they took the 2012 championship with the winning score of 40-30 over the final opponent. Ending their season with an 8-6 final record.
