The outspoken and frequently rowdy star of VH1 hit show “Basketball Wives” Tami Roman has reportedly suffered a heart attack this past week.

“Last night, Tami Roman was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for a medical emergency,” read a statement released by her publicist.

According to MediaTakeOut, Roman was admitted to Cedar-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles Tuesday after suffering from a mild heart attack.

“She has since been released and would like to let her fans and supporters know she is doing fine and looks forward to resuming her scheduled engagements,” read the statement from her publicist. “She will also be back on Twitter communicating with her followers shortly.”

The 41-year-old later took to Twitter after the incident to explain the surprise of her medical condition.

“Thx 2every1 for the get well wishes. Never thought I’d have a mild heart attack at 41. God has a way of bringing things into perspective,” she tweeted. “Finally going home 2my kids-heart meds and all.”

Roman is best known for her fiery personality and growing friendships that play out on the Vh1 hit show “Basketball Wives” that is now in its fourth season. She’s seen frequently getting into arguments with castmates and seems to enjoy the drama that plays out on each episode of the show.

While Roman is quick to fire off whatever she feels—In a recent episode she can be heard telling another castmate “I don’t want to hear what you have to say” and going on to say “bitch, bitch, and more bitch”—she does sometimes seem to have a soft heart, urging reconciliations between others.
