For Maria and Derek’s fifth performance on “Dancing With The Stars” they killed the question whether or not they had kissed the pervious week by blatantly smooching on the dance floor for all to see.
In the beginning of the dance Maria Menounos and pro dance partner Derek Hough stormed the stage as they danced salsa for Latin night on their fifth performance. Maria first “attacked” Dr. Drew before being dragged onto the dance floor by Derek. After the performance she thanked him, “I would like to thank Dr. Drew for letting me attack him.”
In a staged kiss, Maria grabbed Derek’s face and laid a wet one on him. But not all the judges were pleased with the PDA. Carri Ann Inaba lamented, “I don’t think you needed the kiss. I think that was a sell out. Dance is about the illusion of the passion.” However, the audience was thrilled with the kiss and booed Carri Ann for her critique.
Though Carri Ann wasn’t a fan of the kiss, she was impressed with Maria’s dance, “That was hot. Maria you are fantastic.” Your open body is so still and elegant. You had everything magic going on.”
Usually strict judge Len Goodman agreed with Carri Ann. He said to Maria, “I’ll tell you what I thought. Two things were revealed out there. Derek’s body and your talent. You are a wonderful dancer.”
Bruno Tonioli joked, “Do you want me to get you a room? Can I join in?”
The sexy duo scored an impressive 27 out of 30 for their dance, not too shabby! If they didn’t tape their rehearsal’s you would never know that Maria had hurt herself again by hitting her chin on the floor!
